Where am I?
You've found your way to Idle Clues, a website dedicated to murder mystery media!
My main interest is detective and murder mystery games, but I'm interested in any kind of interactive medium that involves solving things, from fair play detective novels to murder mystery dinner parties. Regular murder mystery stories are finicky enough without the input of a player, so what considerations have to be made to balance a mystery that needs to both surprise the participant, but also make them feel intelligent? Who does it well, and why? And how can we use what we learn to create compelling mysteries?
I hope you can find something valuable in my musings.
